This episode we talk face to face with Sailing Miss Lonestar Aubrey Wilson and Stefan (Sp?) who visited me at Hances Point for an interview. She bought a boat on the Bohemia River, MD for 1 US Dollar. It is a Cal 2-29 from 1976 and it was a mess! She has spent the past two months or so rehabbing the boat, and Linus Wilson from the Slow Boat Sailing Podcast was nice enough to tag me on a Facebook post about the Splash in this past weekend. I had no idea this was going on in my neck of the woods. I had seen Sailing Miss Lonestar video’s on Youtube in the past, but had never caught on with the series. Now I’m hooked! I think they are going to have an interesting time of learning while doing as they head North towards Cape Cod and the Massachusetts Maritime Institute where they plan on making a commercial and taking classes.
